Thanks to their granddaughter, an older couple who accidently made a webcam video entitled Web Cam 101 for Seniors have become viral Internet celebrities.

86-year-old Bruce Huffman and 79-year-old wife Esther, residents of northwestern Oregon, purchased a laptop with a built-in webcam earlier this summer.

Their 21-year-old granddaughter attempted to teach the older couple how to use their webcam so they can take a stab at recording videos for their grandchildren away at college.

Through the learning process, they managed to click the record button for a three-minute long video in which Bruce makes funny faces, sings, burps and harasses his wife.

I was trying to figure out how to do the videos and didn't know the thing was actually running, Esther told The Huffington Post. All the while, Bruce was kind of amusing himself because he was bored. He was being quite an actor.

After the video was sent to their granddaughter Mindy, she posted it on YouTube, much to the older couple's surprise, entitled Web Cam 101 for Seniors which has since gone viral with over 6 million views since it was uploaded on Aug. 21.

I did not know anything about YouTube, but apparently, it is spreading like wildfire, Esther said. We certainly didn't plan it, but there is so much bad news out there. We are glad we could put something fun out there. We like to have a good time and if it makes people laugh, that's ok, she told The Huffington post.

According to search statistics on YouTube, the top rising keywords are old couple computer, elderly couple can't figure out computer, older couple trying to take picture on computer, old couple trying to skype, seniors accidental video.
