The highlight of this Premiership weekend comes with Liverpool's visit to Chelsea, a match sure to focus on one individual - Fernando Torres.

Having made his Chelsea's debut against Liverpool on February, after sealing the move away from Anfield on transfer deadline day a few days before, the Reds were still sore from their loss, burning replica shirts of the player they once loved.

It was a horrible debut for Torres, something from which he still hasn't quite recovered. On Sunday, he will hope to banish some questions which have been asked of him, quite unnecessarily - will he ever score against Liverpool?

Torres isn't the only ex-Liverpool player in Chelsea ranks. Raul Meireles made the move to Stamford Bridge, during the summer transfer window, while one of the clubs Nicholas Anelka has played for, in a fairly long list of teams, is Liverpool back in 2002 during an unsuccessful loan spell.

Almost a sideshow to Torres, however, is a Premiers League encounter. Chelsea haven't been at their best of late, and Andre Villas-Boas has done just about okay, so far, since taking over the reins during summer. His side has been scoring goals aplenty, but have been leaky at the back and that has proved detrimental over the last few weeks.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have definitely improved form the turgid side they were at this stage last season, with Kenny Dalglish succeeding in reinvigorating the team. However, they've dropped points they shouldn't have and while in Luis Suarez they have a gem, questions are being asked what they'll do when he is injured.

Over the last seven seasons, these two sides have met a staggering 28 times, some of which were classics in the Champions League. In the Premiership, however, they tend to play out cagey affairs.

This game could be different, however, as Chelsea are likely to play a high-line with their leaky defence, which is almost a guarantee of goals. Liverpool have struggled with goals however, making for an interesting viewing.

Team News

Liverpool could be without Luis Suarez who was injured during International duty while Steven Gerrard will be absent yet again. Jamie Carragher is set to return after recovering from a calf injury.

Chelsea will welcome Didier Drogba back, after he returns from suspension, while Daniel Sturridge has recovered from a knock. Michael Essien remains sidelined.

Match Fact

In the 28 times the two sides have met over the last seven seasons, Liverpool have won nine with Chelsea winning 12. However, Chelsea haven't scored in five of their last seven Premier League games against Liverpool.

Prediction

It'll be a cagey affair, but with home advantage, I'd back Chelsea to win 2-1.
