It's rare to see a weatherman, let alone a newscaster, rant on live television, unless it's for some sort of justifiable reason.

On Wednesday, Henry DiCarlo, weekday meteorologist for the KTLA 5 Morning News in Los Angeles, from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., went out to do a live interview in downtown Los Angeles' Union Station. However, as he was getting ready to interview, producers radioed in that DiCarlo also had to cover the regular weather broadcast, something that came as unexpected to the weatherman.

DiCarlo said on camera that he would catch viewers up on the weather, but he immediately shifted course soon after, alluding to a miscommunication about who exactly was going to cover the regular weather broadcast. His reaction to a shortened weather segment ended with him walking out of his shot distraught.

You know what? asked DiCarlo seconds after producers told him to do the weather. It's so interesting. I'm in the communications business and it seems like there's so little communication.

Sorry we don't have time for weather folks, DiCarlo added. I'm just doing what I'm told. And that was to do an interview.

Good thing regular KTLA anchors Chris Schauble and Megan Henderson managed to play the incident off and poke some fun at it.

Did Henry DiCarlo just have a fit on live TV? Schauble asked Henderson.

I don't think he's happy, Henderson replied. We'll work on that.
