Photos: Callista Gingrich’s Hair in Pictures: Mystery Behind the Platinum Blonde

Callista Gingrich's hair, undoubtedly, is a head turner. The freakishly sleek platinum blonde mane of the Republican presidential contender's wife seems to attract a lot of attention whenever she appears in public accompanying her husband.
Though the very stiff platinum blonde "with one remarkable lock styled into an immobile, upward swoosh," may look like a wig, Callista's tresses are real. Reportedly, she gets her hair done for $400 at the Andre Chreky salon in Washington, D.C. However, according to the New Yorker, Callista's favorite salon is the Sugar House in Virginia. Regardless of which salon she frequents, simple calculation shows that she spends around three grand a year to maintain the enviable shine of her hair.
Callista Gingrich "takes masterful skill," a report noted and is probably dyed every two weeks.
