AMC accidently leaked some spoilers for season two of its show, "The Walking Dead," about who dies in the shocking end of the finale on its Web site in an ad touting the DVD box set. Wikipedia

Season three of the Walking Dead won't be bringing the blood and guts until October, but AMC has graciously shared some new photos with Entertainment Weekly to hold off your hunger.

At the end of season two, the camera panned out to show that our small group of survivors was in the vicinity of the prison, a key location in the comic books. While fans had a chance to see some leaked photos of new character, the Governor, and an old returning one, Merle, they have yet to see inside the prison...until now.

Entertainment Weekly explains that the prison will become the new home for Rick's group of survivors. Photos from season three show that making the prison home won't be that easy though. One photo of Maggie swinging a machete has eight walkers visible. The number of walkers in the prison may be nowhere near the number that infested the farm last season, but let's keep in mind that these walkers were also criminals, which make them extra scary.

I'm incredibly proud of the prison, showrunner Glen Mazzara explained to Entertainment Weekly. I think our crew has done a great job.

For Mazzara, the prison is like its own character. It's a haunted house, it's scary, it's frightening, and there are parts of the prison that are always terrifying, that are always inaccessible to our group.

While the prison setting is pulled from the comics, Mazzara explains that it's not necessarily the blessing that the prison in the comic book turned out to be.

Rick's group of survivors won't be spending the whole season behind prison walls though. TV Guide reveals that the season will be split with another new setting, the town of Woodbury. Woodbury is the home of the Governor, and possibly Merle, Michonne and the rescued Andrea.

Mazzara explained to TV Guide that his hopes for season three are that fans think that too much is going on. I can't take it, it's too exciting! he voices that he'd like to hear from fans. We are really hitting the ground running and we expect the audience to keep up. The audience will not be ahead of 'The Walking Dead' in season three.
