"Once Upon A Time"

Exciting news for Once Upon a Time fans! Besides casting news for next season, ABC has also released their season 2 poster!

The poster, which was revealed by TVLine, features seven characters that are bound to be heavy hitters when the series returns this fall. In the poster is newly promoted cast member Meghan Ory (Ruby/Red), Lana Parrilla (Regina Mills/Evil Queen), Ginnifer Goodwin (Mary Margaret/Snow White), Jennifer Morrison (Emma), Josh Dallas (David/ Prince Charming), newly promoted Emilie de Ravin (Belle) and Robert Carlyle (Mr. Gold/ Rumpelstiltskin).

The Once Upon a Time, poster doesn't reveal anything about what's in store for season 2 besides speculation of who will be dominating the plot line.

We do get a little bit more information about what's in store for our favorite fairy tale characters from two recent casting. According to Entertainment Weekly, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan will be two fairy tale princesses moving into Storybrooke.

Tudors actress Sarah Bolger has been cast as the beautiful Princess Aurora/ Sleeping Beauty. The original story of Sleeping Beauty is well known, but Once Upon a Time promises to put a twist on the fairy tale.

Originally Princess Aurora became pricked by a needle, falling into a deep sleep after the evil Maleficent places a curse on her. Sleeping Beauty is only awoken with the kiss of her handsome prince. In the case of Once Upon a Time, the series has already introduced True Blood's Kristin Bauer van Straten as Maleficent. For Bolger's Aurora, EW states that the character will be a spoiled girl from a privileged background who's willing to 'sacrifice everything for love.'

Legendary warrior Mulan will also be an interesting addition to the cast. Hangover 2 and Sucker Punch star Jamie Chung has been cast as the Chinese fighter.

Disney had originally adapted the story of Mulan in 1998 about the young woman who joins the army, now Once Upon a Time is getting its turn.

According to EW, Chung's character will be trained in weaponry, tracking and riding, and has a spirituality that enhances her tactical and strategic abilities. Mulan will have a dark history though. It's reported that the character has been betrayed in the past, but can be very loyal when she gives her oath of friendship. While the character sounds brutal, EW reports that she will also have a soft spot. When she falls in love, she falls hard.

Both Sarah Bolger and Jamie Chung's characters will ne recurring roles in Once Upon a Time's second season.
