FX's "American Horror Story" has had fans in a tizzy guessing and waiting to find out who will be joining the cast for the highly anticipated second season. One role that has remained a mystery was that of "The Lovers." While it's been revealed that "Voice" judge and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine will be one part of the couple, his other half has been kept under wraps...until now.

Entertainment Weekly announced that the other half of "The Lovers" role has gone to "Step Up" star (and Channing Tatum's wife) Jenna Dewan.

Dewan's transfer to T.V. will be an easy one. The actress played Janie in "The Playboy Club" in 2011, and two years before that was a guest star on the CW's reboot of "Melrose Place.

As mentioned, Dewan will star opposite Levine. The pair, along with many other new cast members, are imprisoned in an East Coast institution for the criminally insane. Set in the 1960's, the second season of "American Horror Story" is a complete reboot, telling a new story with all new characters.

Dewan will be joining other "American Horror Story" newbies Lizzie Brochere, James Cromwell, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Mark Consuelos, Clea Duvall and of course, Adam Levine.

The FX show was recently nominated for 17 Emmy nominations. For those that missed out on the ghoulish fun, season one will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray on Sept. 25.

Production for season two has already begun, with the new episodes expected to hit FX in October.
