Zoe Saldana, who played a sexy blue alien in James Cameron's 3D blockbuster Avatar toped People magazine's annual best-dressed list on Wednesday, alongside Glee actress Lea Michele and Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton.

Singers Gwen Stefani and Rihanna, actresses Jennifer Anniston, Jessica Alba and Diane Kruger also have made it top 10.

Saldana, 32, seen in Avatar wearing little but blue and an elegant tail, was dubbed the Red Carpet Queen for her grace, taste and sense of fun.

Michele, 24, who plays the geeky Rachel Berry in the TV musical Glee has been praised for wearing bold shades like scarlet and emerald on the red carpet and got The Newbie title.

Prince William's long time beau Kate Middleton, 28, was dubbed the Princess in Waiting and got points for always looking chic and refined.

Kruger, 34, who played a German double agent in last year's Inglourious Basterds, was called the Runway Renegade, admired for doing her own make-up and putting style before comfort at celebrity events.

While Gwen Stefani got the title of The Hip Mom, Barbadian singer Rihanna got the Daring Diva title. Similarly Olivia Palermo is The Uptown Girl, Jessica Alba, the Mix Master, Jennifer Anniston the American Classic and Rachel Bilson is the Denim Darling.

The popular magazine has also picked up some fashion faux pas including the unfortunate red carpet appearances by Rita Wilson, the actress wife of Tom Hanks, and former screen scorcher Sharon Stone. The suicide of British fashion designer Alexander McQueen, Chelsea Clinton's multimillion-dollar wedding and Canadian teen idol Justin Bieber's floppy, eye-brow grazing hair were termed as the most memorable style moments of the year.
