Audiences are loving “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and luckily, they won’t have to wait for the 2019 sequel to see their favorite characters again. It seems like plenty of cast members from the new movie will appear in “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Peter Parker: Spider-Man (Tom Holland) may have turned down an official spot with the Avengers, but Thanos’ threat to the universe is an all hands on deck situation. The villain, who is the father of Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana), will be searching for the all-powerful Infinity Stones. Peter will team up with everyone to help stop the purple alien from attaining infinite power.

However, Holland hasn’t actually been allowed to read the “Avengers: Infinity War” script yet. “I don’t know anything about it or what it’s about,” Holland told the Toronto Sun. “I know who the villain is, but that’s it. They don’t let me read anything because I’m so bad at keeping secrets.”

Sally Avril: It sounds like some of the action will take place in Queens since Peter’s classmates will be around. Actress Isabella Amara confirmed to BlackFilm.com that she will return. “Yes. I’m in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ They are filming both ‘Infinity Wars’ back to back, but I’m only in the first one,” she revealed. If Sally is around, it’s safe to say that other Spider-Man’s other friends might make an appearance too.

Spider-Man Iron Man
Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will reunite in “Avengers: Infinity War” next year. Sony

Tony Stark: Of course, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will be in the third “Avengers” film. All of the original Avengers — Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)—will appear in the epic team up. Whether they all survive the battle is a different question. Kevin Feige recently confirmed that some heroes will be gone after “Avengers: Infinity War.”

Steve Rogers: This time, Captain America won’t just be part of informational videos. Expect Cap to be part of some serious action sequences in “Avengers: Infinity War.”

While those four are the only confirmed cast members, there are a few more who could potentially appear in the flick.

Pepper Potts: Gwyneth Paltrow made a surprise appearance at the end of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and now there are reports that the actress is reprising her role as Pepper Potts in “Avengers: Infinity War.” However, those rumors haven’t actually been confirmed yet.

Tweets surfaced earlier this week claiming Paltrow was on set in Atlanta, but they’ve been deleted. However, since it looked like Pepper and Tony were getting engaged at the end of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” it’s safe to say that she’ll at least get a mention (like she did in “Age of Ultron”). With all the cast members being fit into this movie, however, it would be surprising if she didn’t show up.

Happy Hogan: Another possible but unconfirmed addition is Jon Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan. In “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” he was a liason between Peter and Tony. Favreau is already set to be an executive producer on “Infinity War,” so an appearance from Happy is not out of the question, but it has not been confirmed at this point.

As “Avengers: Infinity War” shooting moves to Queens, New York, this week, more information might be revealed about “Spider-Man: Homecoming” cast members joining the action movie. After all, the borough is where Spider-Man lives.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” cast members only make up a small portion of the “Infinity War” cast. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Vision (Paul Bettany), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and more are set to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

“Avengers: Infinity War,” directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, hits theaters May 4, 2018.
