With the Ayn Rand's classic book 'Atlas Shrugged' finally hitting the silver screen on April 15, the anticipation seems to have peaked.

The film adaptation of the 1957 epic novel tells the tale of a railroad executive, Dagny Taggart, and her fight to keep her business alive at a time when the American society is falling apart around her.

Ayn Rand's book has impressed conservatives over the years for the free-market themes. The much-awaited movie's trailer was also recently screened at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

The movie stars Taylor Schilling as Taggart. Directed by Paul Johansson, the film has been split into two parts.
