Nick Viall finally found love in Season 21 of “The Bachelor,” making way for one of his castoffs to do the same. Rachel Lindsay, who made it to the final three, will be this season’s “Bachelorette.”

Her quest for love on the ABC show has already kicked off, though viewers won’t get to watch any of it until May. Executive producer Mike Fleiss teased the first episode of the show, sharing behind-the-scenes photos from filming. He snapped pictures with Rachel as well as some of the cast.

Rachel has plenty of support heading into Season 13 of “Bachelorette.” JoJo Fletcher, who competed in Season 12, offered some sage advice. During an interview with Extra, she warned that Rachel’s career may affect the way she goes into the process.

“She’s a lawyer — she thinks a lot, she’s always in her head. I was gonna tell her to try not to be in her head so much but also listen to that mind of yours because you’re smart, and don’t let your heart get carried away with the looks and the lust, ‘cause it happens,” she said.

We’re hopeful that Rachel will take JoJo’s advice and won’t carry too much baggage from her breakup with Nick into “The Bachelorette.” The Dallas native appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February to discuss their split. She admitted, at the time, that it blindsided her.

“I really had a connection with Nick, and I was shocked,” she said (via Us Weekly). “I was sort of skeptical that it would happen that fast but it did. And it didn’t work out, I guess he was looking for something else. His loss.”

“The Bachelorette” Season 13 premieres May 22 on ABC.
