Barnes & Noble to launch electronic bookstore with up to million titles

Barnes & Noble says it is launching an electronic bookstore that will allow its customers to purchase books to read on different platforms such as the iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry smartphones, Plastic Logic eReader and most computers.

The retailer will provide access to over 700,000 titles and increase them to up to 1 million within the next year.
