The character of Lex Luthor in the forthcoming film “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” may be a little different from what fans have seen in the previous movies. The character may appear in an action sequence and a new report reveals what he may be wearing in that scene. [Spoiler alert]

Lex Luthor will be played by Jesse Eisenberg. According to a report by Joblo, the character will be seen wearing the green/purple suit from the comic books and video games. But this may be the first movie in which the character will be seen wearing a battle suit. The role was previously played by actors like Gene Hackman.

The Lex Luthor battle suit is said to be similar in design to the “many variations we’ve seen in the past.” The design will reportedly fit the “style and look” of the movie and the DC Cinematic Universe. It is still unclear for how long the character will be seen in the action sequence and whether he will wear the battle suit only for the climax fight of the movie.

“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is said to have a strong connection to the 2013 “Man Of Steel” movie. The upcoming movie will apparently pick up the story right after the events of the 2013 movie, where General Zod and his men attempted to take over Earth and were ultimately defeated.

The report suggests that there have been a few fan theories about how Lex Luthor builds his battle suit in the upcoming movie. One popular fan theory is said to be that the criminal genius will access Kryptonian technology brought to Earth by General Zod. The villain will need a strong battle suit if he wants to take on the powerful Superman in the movie.

There are also reports that Lex Luthor will get some help from the comic book character Doomsday to take on the heroes in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” However, there is still no confirmation that Doomsday will appear in the movie.
