The teaser of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” was shared by director Zack Snyder on his Twitter account on Thursday, confirming the release date of the official trailer. The trailer of the Warner Bros. film will be revealed at a special IMAX preview event on Monday.

The 21-second clip gives glimpses of Superman’s costume, Batman’s outfit and the film’s logo. The teaser mentioned the trailer release date as April 20, but did not give out any other detail about the much-awaited film. The movie is expected to hit the theatres in March 2016.

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as the Man of Steel in the latest film, with Ben Affleck taking on the role of Batman. Gal Gadot will play the role of Wonder Woman, while "The Social Network" star, Jesse Eisenberg, has been cast as the villain Lex Luthor, and "Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

"He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that’s for sure," Snyder told Entertainment Weekly last month. “Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”

Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Jeremy Irons will also reprise their roles in the second installment of the Superman movie.
