Business software maker BEA Systems Inc. on Wednesday posted higher revenue for the third quarter and said it plans to report full results after the completion of a review into its stock option grants.

The company reported third-quarter total revenue of $347.7 million, up 19 percent from the year-ago period, on strong performance in several U.S. regions and growth in China.
