We've chosen a selection of Cannes' best pictures from the red carpet and around the festival.

Typically photographers who photograph celebrities get credit for getting the perfect shot of a celebrity on the red carpet, but not usually for a beautiful shot.

We've decided to focus on some of the photographs from Cannes that really stood out.
