American singer and entertainer Beyonce Knowles and her husband, Jay-Z, are now waiting for February 2012.

In a recent interview on Australia's Sunday Night television program, Beyonce announced that her first child was due in early 2012. It would appear that Valentine's Day could be coming with a little bonus for the couple. This will be their first child together.

Beyonce, who has been married to Jay-Z for three years now, has always maintained that she wanted to have a baby by the time she turned 30.

The singer announced her pregnancy in August at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The news came as a surprise to her fans because the couple is known to be protective about their personal lives and have previously repeatedly ignored and denied such speculation.

[Being pregnant] already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, all of my 20s, the American R&B queen told Sunday Night. I just feel like it's time and I'm very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have.

Interestingly, Beyonce recently admitted that her sense of smell has become particularly strong, meaning she is not a fan of partners' Jigga fragrance, MTV reported.

Oh! My nose is like 'doot, doot, doot'! I smell everything! It enhances it. If it smells bad, I smell it! My husband's fragrance, his one that I always love, I hate right now, Beyonce told Hello Beautiful.

In an earlier story on IBTimes, Solange Knowles, Beyonce’s sister, said the “baby's gender is already known and they're even picking out names.
