‘The Big Bang Theory’
Can Sheldon's (Jim Parson) emotion detection machine really help him understand his friends better in “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 14? CBS

“Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 14 will revolve around Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) familiarizing himself with all sorts of emotions.

In “The Emotion Detection Automation,” Sheldon will try out a machine that could detect other people’s emotions. In the promo released by CBS, Sheldon shows off the machine to his friends, and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) tells him that he’s happy for him. When Sheldon turns it on, the machine reveals that Leonard is indeed happy for his best friend.

In another scene, Sheldon tells Howard (Simon Helberg), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) that he wants to use the machine in order to become a more considerate person. Bernadette is happy that Sheldon is starting to care more about the other people around him these days. However, Sheldon adds that he wants to know how other people feel, so that he can also discover their weaknesses. This way, he would know how to hurt and destroy them if he needs to.

Elsewhere in the episode, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) will reunite with his four ex-girlfriends, Lucy (Kate Micucci), Emily (Katie Leclerc), Claire (Alessandra Torresani) and Emily (Laura Spencer), whom he will ask for relationship advice. Raj is curious why his relationships keep failing and wants to know if it’s because of him.

Meanwhile, Leonard isn’t too pleased when he finds out that Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) brother, Randall (Jack McBrayer), is in town. Penny wants to help Randall find a job, so she will hook him up with a job interview. But she will soon realize how difficult it is to find a job for her brother, since Randall doesn’t have a clean track record.
