Simon Helberg has one big wish from the writers and creators of “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 and that is for his character Howard’s father to be introduced in the show.

During a recent interview with FOX News, Helberg said that he wants to meet Howard’s father in the upcoming episodes. If Howard’s dad can’t be featured in the hit CBS TV show just yet, Helberg hopes that his name or any story about him would be included in the script. On the other hand, Helberg trusts that the writers of the show know exactly what they are doing to make “The Big Bang Theory” attractive to audiences.

For instance, viewers also had to wait for a very long time to meet Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) mom and brother. Last month, Variety confirmed that “8 Simple Rules” alum Katey Sagal will play the role of Penny’s mom Susan. “30 Rock” alum Jack McBrayer will play the role of Penny’s ex-con brother Randall.

Helberg is also looking forward to Bernadette’s (Melissa Rauch) new pregnancy storyline. The actor said that Howard and Bernadette will welcome their first baby soon, but he has no idea when exactly this will take place. “I don’t know anything that ever is going to happen, except that a baby will come out because I know how physiology works. She’s going to have a baby, but I have no idea when,” he said.

“The Big Bang Theory” season 10 will premiere on CBS on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

In other news, Helberg stars in the upcoming movie “Florence Foster Jenkins” where he will play the role of Cosmo McMoon, a classical pianist who works with Florence (Meryl Streep), a singer with a not-so-great voice. While speaking with Freep, Helberg said that he had a blast working with co-stars Streep and Hugh Grant. “I felt like I was very welcomed in and it was a very collaborative experience all around,” he said.

“Florence Foster Jenkins” is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Aug. 12.
