“Big Brother” Season 19 has crowned its winner, and no matter how hard he tried to campaign for his game, Paul Abrahamian fell short of bringing the $500,000 prize home – again.

On Wednesday night’s two-hour finale episode, the events from the three-part final Head of Household (HOH) competition were shown. Paul won in the first round, but Josh secured his spot in the final two by winning in the second and third rounds of the competition.

Josh, who has been aligned with his “ride or die,” Christmas Abbott, was faced with the difficult task of choosing between her and Paul. Since he could only take one of them to final two, Josh thought of the best way on how to secure his win. He’s worried that Christmas will win over the jury’s votes because she never got into a fight with any of them.

Paul, on the other hand, may have been a competition beast, but he had to destroy other people’s trust and game to get further in the show. In the end, Josh apologized to Christmas but revealed that he’s booting her off in third place.

Meanwhile, Josh and Paul pleaded their cases to the members of the jury and explained why they believe they deserve to win. Christmas, who just got out of the house minutes earlier, voted for Paul. It was quite surprising for Josh to hear this because he had a good relationship with Christmas. But towards the end of the season, Christmas and Paul started being sweet to each other.

Kevin Schlehuber also voted for Paul together with Raven Walton and Matthew Clines. Until the end of the season, Raven was still convinced that she was the puppet master. Alex Ow originally said that she will vote for Paul, but decided to vote for Josh instead.

Jason Dent, Elena Davies and Mark Jansen also voted for Josh instead of Paul. This resulted in a brief tie between the two houseguests. “Big Brother” host Julie Chen called Cody Nickson last to cast his vote, and he unsurprisingly voted for Josh making him this season’s winner.

Cody was also crowned as America’s Favorite Houseguest and brought home the $25,000 prize.
