“Big Brother” Season 19 is down to its final five houseguests, and each one needs to come up with a decision on who to take with them to the final two.

In the previous episode, Alex Ow was blindsided over Jason Dent’s sudden eviction. When she was named as Head of Household (HOH) in the double eviction, she asked Paul Abrahamian, Josh Martinez and Christmas Abbott to vote Kevin Schlehuber out instead of Raven Walton. Unfortunately, it was Raven who was sent home.

After another round of HOH competition, Josh won and had to nominate Alex and Kevin for eviction. Josh wants Kevin out this week, but Paul insisted that he needs to stay in the game because he is a lesser threat. Kevin has not won an HOH or Power of Veto (POV) throughout the entire season, but Alex has always been a “competition beast.”

Paul thinks that keeping Kevin in the house and evicting Alex this week will be more beneficial to his, Josh’s and Christmas’ games. And he may be right. But when it comes down to it, Paul already made it clear that he is playing for himself. This means that if he will have the chance to win HOH this week, he would put Kevin and Josh up for eviction, but since Josh is a bigger threat, he could once again keep Kevin in the game.

Christmas, who is still recovering from her foot injury, will have a difficult time winning over Paul. She only won over him recently because Paul threw his game to make sure he won’t have blood in his hands. It would be a very strategic move to keep Kevin in the final two instead of Christmas or Josh because this may ensure the returning vet’s win.

On the contrary, even though Kevin did not win anything throughout the entire summer, the houseguests who have made it to the jury house have realized that Paul played all of them. This could be a point against him and a point in favor of Kevin who had an impressive social game.

“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT.
