“Big Brother” Season 19 won’t premiere until next year, but those who wish to apply may now do so online.

According to the show’s official casting site, all aspiring houseguests need to make sure that they are first eligible to be part of the hit CBS reality TV show before submitting their application forms. Requirements include being at least 21 years old, a resident of the United States and a citizen of the country. Those who are candidates for public office or are working in the government are not eligible to apply.

Other eligibility requirements include excellent physical and mental health and availability for interviews at any given time. Once selected, the aspiring houseguest should also travel to Los Angeles and pay for all of the expenses. Background checks will also be conducted by the producers of the show.

Meanwhile, if deemed eligible, the applicants will be required to submit a video where they will talk about themselves and share basic information such as their hometown, profession, marital status, height, weight, hobbies, interests, talents and the like. The video should be uploaded alongside a photo and a completed application form. If selected, the applicants will receive an email from the staff of “Big Brother” Season 19. Upon receiving an email, successful applicants will be interviewed and will later be narrowed down to a group of 40 individuals.

Prior to the premiere of “Big Brother” Season 19, the producers of the show may change their decision about some of the contestants any time. It has been their goal to make sure that all houseguests per season will have unique and very different personalities. Other than the online application, the producers of the reality TV show will also be heading to some parts of the U.S. for auditions and interviews.

Big Brother” Season 19 will still be hosted by Julie Chen. The upcoming season will premiere on CBS in June 2017.
