Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds reportedly have welcomed their first child. News of the birth went viral on Monday, but the couple has yet to confirm or make an official announcement.

Page Six was the first to break the news that Lively, 27, and Reynolds, 37, welcomed their baby “over the holidays.” The former “Gossip Girl” is said to have given birth “earlier than expected” near their Bedford, New York, home. Both mother and baby are reportedly “healthy and doing well” despite the early arrival. The site contacted a rep for the actress, who declined to comment on the rumors. The sex and name of the child have not been released.

Although Lively never revealed her official due date, many speculated that the actress would give birth in the spring. She simply told fans during an appearance at Martha Stewart’s American Made Summit in November that she and her husband would be welcoming their baby “next year.”

Lively and Reynolds, formerly married to Scarlett Johansson, began dating in October 2011 and wed in September 2012. The private couple held an intimate ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with family and a handful of celebrity friends like Bette Midler and Florence Welch. In October they announced on Lively’s new lifestyle blog, Preserve, that they were expecting their first child together. Since the announcement, the actress has been in the spotlight for her gorgeous maternity fashion.

“The Bedford house is all prepared,” a source dished to Us Weekly. “They’re going to stay up there for the baby’s first days.”
