“Blindspot” Season 2 recently released its promotional photos for season 2 featuring cast members Jaimie Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Rob Brown, Ukweli Roach and newcomer Archie Panjabi.
The photos, which were released online by Spoiler TV, featured each of the cast members standing in front of the walls of a colorful room that have Jane Doe’s (Alexander) tattoos painted on them. A series of group photos were also released online.
Panjabi’s yet-to-be-named character is the head of the secret division of the NSA. She will encourage Jane and Weller to work together, so they could hunt the bad guys.
Jane Doe is the lead character in the hit NBC series. She arrived in Times Square in season 1 with tattoos all over her body. She doesn’t know where she came from or how she got the tattoos. In season 2, Jane’s real name and other information about herself will finally be revealed.
Kurt Weller (Stapleton) is currently heading the FBI team that has been working with Jane throughout the past couple of months. Kurt and Jane had a falling out after the former found out that the latter has been lying to him about remembering her true identity.
Patterson (Johnson) is the head of the FBI’s Forensic Science Unit. She’s the one who always figures out the clues about Jane’s tattoos. When the series returns in September, Patterson will have the hardest time accepting the death of their former boss Mayfair (Marianne Jean Baptiste), the actress told Entertainment Weekly.
Zapata (Esparza) is one of the members of Weller’s team. She has a gambling addiction and is in huge debt. In the upcoming episodes, more information about the character will be unveiled.
Reade (Brown) is another member of Weller’s FBI team. He has worked closely with Jane and has been loyal to her despite previously doubting her sincerity.
Dr. Bornen (Roach) is the resident psychologist of the FBI. He had informative sessions with Jane about her past, as well as the other guest characters.
“Blindspot” season 2 will premiere on NBC on Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET.
