Bobby Brown is being forced to clear up rumors regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical condition yet again. This time the 46-year-old singer is taking aim at outlets reporting that his daughter is being sent home to be comfortable as she dies.

In a statement to E! News, issued by his legal counsel, Brown slammed the “numerous false reports and sensationalism” surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s condition in recent weeks. According to the statement, the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston is “not going home to die.” Lawyer Christopher Brown added that Bobby “has not made any comments to TMZ or any reported agency,” although there have been several stories claiming otherwise. The statement also asked, once more, that the media ignore any and all comments from Bobbi Kristina’s cousin, Jerod Carter, who also goes by the names Jerod Brown and Y.F. Kennedy. The aspiring rapper recently announced his plans to set out on a tour to honor his comatose cousin. Bobby’s legal counsel claims he is in no way attached to the so-called Prayer Tour “and does not support it.”

In a personal statement released Friday, Bobby Brown told fans and followers to disregard anything that doesn’t come directly from him or his legal team. He assured supporters that, with the help of Pat Houston, he is making decisions regarding Bobbi Kristina’s treatment. In closing he wrote, “I do not have time for the frequent sideshows that others choose to engage in almost on a daily basis.”

“Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina’s medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter’s injuries needs to be brought to justice,” the recording artist said.

The statements from both Brown and his lawyer appear to be a direct response to reports that the Brown and Houston families are losing hope for Bobbi Kristina’s recovery. Previous stories asserted that family members were urging Bobby to “pull the plug” on his daughter, while others stated that they wanted to bring her home where she could “die peacefully.”

Bobbi Kristina has been unresponsive since Jan. 31. She was found face down in a bathtub full of water inside the Georgia home she and longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon shared. Gordon, who recently left rehab where he was being treated for depression as well as addiction, claimed he attempted to perform life-saving measures on Bobbi Kristina while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Once at the hospital, doctors placed Bobbi Kristina in a medically induced coma. She has since been moved from the hospital to a long-term care facility, where she can receive the round-the-clock care she requires.

She has shown little to no signs of improvement since the incident occurred. It remains unclear what the next step is for her or her family.
