Friday's episode of the CBS soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" is about Julius and his inability to accept Maya as his daughter. The episode also will show Maya confiding in Rick about her past experiences in the Avant household as a young Myron.

It will focus on Julius Avant (Obba Babatundé), Maya Avant (Karla Mosley), Rick Forrester (Jacob Young), Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards) and Vivienne Avant (Anna Maria Horsford).

The events follow Thursday's episode, which showed the arrival of Julius in Los Angeles. As for Wyatt, he demanded that Liam treat Ivy better and to stop stringing her along. Ivy also had a conversation with Katie who advised her to be open to other options.

Nicole, Vivienne and Julius met up at the outdoor restaurant. While Julius insisted that Nicole will go home with them, she told him that the decision is not up to him. Nicole told him about her internship at Forrester Creations. She also revealed meeting a nice guy there. Plus, she wants to stay with Maya because they are finally getting to know each other better. Unfortunately, Julius is not open to the idea of Maya as a transgender woman. He even called her a freak.

Spoiler alert! This article contains "The Bold and the Beautiful" spoilers. TV Guide reports that in Friday's episode, Maya will tell Rick about what it was like to live with her parents when she was younger and used to be guy named Myron. Meanwhile, Maya's father Julius still won't accept that his son Myron is now a woman. Vivienne convinces him to visit Maya with her at the Forrester mansion.

A preview video for the show's Friday episode was posted on the YouTube channel boldandbeautiful. It shows several scenes featuring Nicole, Maya, Rick and Julius. Nicole tells her father that his embarrassment and shame are driving Maya and her away from them. As for Maya, she tells someone how lonely it feels to want your parents' approval and not get it.

Meanwhile, Julius tells Nicole that the only reason that he and Vivienne went to Los Angeles is to get Nicole back. He also reveals to Nicole that he doesn't consider Maya as his child anymore.
