Fans of "24" were ecstatic when the popular drama returned for a 12-episode series, “24: Live Another Day,” but as sweet as the show’s surprise return might have been, it was tantalizingly short. Luckily, fans longing for another taste of the popular series may be able to get their fix from an upcoming episode of “Bones” Season 11.

According to TVLine, Kim Raver, who portrayed Department of Defense liaison Audrey Raines in Seasons 4, 5, 6 and 9 of “24,” will guest star in the two-episode opener to “Bones” Season 11. Raver will play FBI special agent Grace Miller, who will become a key figure in tracking down missing agent Booth (David Boreanaz). Executive producer Michael Peterson told TVLine, “It’s a true thriller – somewhere between a traditional 'Bones' and an episode of '24.' ”

It seems “Bones” is pulling out all of the stops in the guest star department for Season 11. The series has also booked Betty White for an episode. The 93-year-old will play Dr. Beth Mayer, a veteran forensic scientist whom Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth consult on a new murder case. However, White's Mayer will cause some tension for Booth and Brennan. Her half century of experience makes her equally, if not more, knowledgeable about forensic anthropology than Brennan. Plus, Mayer may even have Booth beat on football fandom -- the murder in White's episode has connections to fantasy football. The new consultant will have the pair feeling a little competitive.

The series also has a crossover event planned with Fox's "Sleepy Hollow." According to Entertainment Weekly, in the episode air Thursday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. EDT, Booth and Brennan will cross paths with Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) from "Sleepy Hollow" after the discovery of a gruesome murder. Apparently, both duos have a stake in finding a certain piece of evidence in the case, leading to them teaming up to solve the mystery

As for Kim Raver, fans will have to wait to find out if the “24” vet will be able to do her best Jack Bauer impression and track down Booth. "Bones" Season 11 premieres Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
