Jennifer Lawrence (J-Law) and Bradley Cooper, who star as emotionally damaged romantic opposites in the Oscar-nominated “Silver Linings Playbook,” are rumored to be involved in an off-screen romance as well.

Speculation that the two are more than friends ignited after Lawrence’s alleged breakup with actor Nicholas Holt (“About a Boy,” “Warm Bodies”), which was first reported by In Touch on Friday.

Cooper also reportedly paid a visit to spiltsville recently.

According to US Weekly, the actor split (again) from his “The Words” costar Zoe Saldana earlier this month. The site reports that the on-again-off-again couple, also split last March after three months of dating.

At the Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday, both stars nabbed acting awards for their performances in the dramedy, while the film itself was honored with awards for Best Acting Ensemble and Best Comedy Movie.

According to the Daily Mail, the newly single stars were “touchy-feely” during the ceremony.

On Friday, E! reported that Cooper and Lawrence were seen dining at the Los Angeles eatery Katsuya but noted that they could have easily been celebrating the awards season dominance of “Silver Linings.”

Though a romance between two costars is common, there is no concrete evidence that the two are more than friends, and if they are invovled, they aren't ready to go public.

During the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, where neither Lawrence of Cooper appear to have brought a date, the 38-year-old actor -- who lost a Best Actor trophy to Hugh Jackman -- told ET that there’s no truth to the speculation.

“Oh my God, that’s very funny …,” Cooper said. “We've done two movies together. If it didn't happen by now, it's not going to happen.”

“Not even close, no. First of all, I could be her father,” he said of the 22-year-old actress. “I love her … but no.”

Lawrence also denied the rumors.

“We’re in a relationship apparently. Things are ‘heating up,’” she joked.

Lawrence took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.

“Silver Linings” is up for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Cooper, Lawrence, and the film’s supporting players, Robert DeNiro and Jackie Weaver, all received nominations for their performances—making it the first film in 31 years to earn nods in all four of the acting categories.

There’s one woman is sure to be on Cooper’s arm at the Oscars next month. The actor already has a date for the ceremony—his mother Gloria.

The actor told E! "One night, when I started the profession, [mom said] 'If you ever [get nominated] I am the date.'"

In addition to “Silver Linings,” cooper and Lawrence completed production on the drama “Serena” last spring. Set in 1929 North Carolina, the film centers on George and Serena Pemberton, a newly married couple who ruthlessly begin to take over the timber industry. The two turn on one another when Serena learns she is unable to bear children and sets out to kill her husband’s illegitimate son.

The drama is set to be released later this year.
