British Energy down 7 percent on repair fears - traders

British energy shares fell 7 percent in early trading, after concerns over repairs to two of its nuclear generators, traders said.

They guided down last night on production for the year because a couple of nuclear boilers cracked. I think also there is a sentiment hit, one said.

British Energy was down 5.2 percent at 602 pence by 07:31 GMT (8:31 a.m. British time), having hit 580 pence.
