Indian equity markets are trading lower by 328.30 points or 1.59 percent on Friday with all sectoral indices are in the negative side.

At 1:27 p.m., the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex has declined by 328.30 points or 159 percent at 20,260.79 points with only 4 components gaining and 26 components declining.

The 30-share index reached a high of 20,593.91 and a low of 20,228.41. The BSE opened at 20,529.74 on Friday's session.

The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty decreased by 82.20 points or 1.33 percent to 6,112.05. The NSE index reached a high of 6,202.50 and a low of 6,088.05. Nifty opened at 6,182.30.

The BSE’s Midcap Index declined by 1.55 percent to 8,498.45 and Smallcap Index also down 1.67 percent to 11,004.93. Bank Nifty Index lost by 1.77 percent and CNX IT also moved down 1.20 percent.
