Bull
Catch Michael Weatherly play a brash and brilliant trial consultant, Dr. Jason Bull, in his new CBS series “’Bull.” CBS

Michael Weatherly may have left “NCIS” for good, but he isn’t leaving the world of television anytime soon. The DiNozzo portrayer will be headlining CBS’ new TV series, titled “Bull,” in which he will play a brash and brilliant trial consultant named Dr. Jason Bull. With a remarkable insight into human nature and the holder of three PhDs, Dr. Bull is able to use his knowledge, experience and his competent team to tip the scales of justice in his client’s favor.

Although Weatherly had many love interests, most notably Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David, in “NCIS,” “Bull” will also see him romancing a character. “The Night Shift” actress Jill Flint will guest-star in an episode in October as a confident lawyer named Diana, TVLine reports. She has a history with Dr. Bull, which means sparks will fly when the two meet on a case.

Flint’s Diana is described a woman who uses her smile like a weapon, but with a twist of Texas charm.

A case will bring Bull and his team to Texas where he will lock horns with Diana.

Flint’s other acting credits include roles in “The Good Wife,” “Nurse Jackie” and “Royal Pains.”

“Bull” tells the tale of Dr. Bull and his elite team that make up a trial consulting firm. Using psychology, human intuition and high tech data, the team learn what makes jurors, lawyers, witnesses and the accused tick. Using this information, Weatherly and his team do everything they can to tip the scales in their client’s favor.

The firm, called Trial Analysis Corporation, includes Bull’s brother-in-law Benny Colón (Freddy Rodriguez), a neurolinguistics expert named Marissa Morgan (Geneva Carr), former NYPD detective Danny James (Jaime Lee Kirchner), hacker and tech genius Cable McCrory (Annabelle Attanasio) and stylist Chunk Palmer (Christopher Jackson).

The series premiere of “Bull” airs on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS, right after “NCIS.”
