Caitlyn Jenner has been living publicly as a woman for several months now, but it seems she may not be fully ready to kiss her old persona, Bruce Jenner, goodbye just yet. The former Olympian officially introduced herself to the world as Caitlyn Jenner in June on the cover of Vanity Fair. It appears, however, that Bruce Jenner may make a brief surprise return in a coming episode of “I Am Cait.”

Newly released footage from E! Online shows Jenner, 65, discussing golf – one of her many athletic passions – with her assistant and close friend, Ronda Kamihira. In the video Caitlyn says she plans to seek out a membership at a new golf course at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California. While none of this appears to be big news to Kamihira, Jenner shocks her by saying she intends to sign up for membership using her birth name, Bruce Jenner. In addition to signing up under her old name, she tells Kamihira she plans to just pretend she’s not living as female at the course.

“Let’s just put ‘Bruce’ down and it’s fine,” she says later on in the short video. “’Cause then I don’t have to worry about locker rooms and all that crap right now, which I don’t want to worry about. I’ll worry about the locker rooms later on down the line.”

As was previously reported, Kamihira, who has been Caitlyn Jenner’s assistant since the earliest days of her transition, helped to pick her female name. During her interview with Vanity Fair the father of six revealed that choosing a name was “one of the hardest things in life.” She added that she spent a lot of time before coming out as Caitlyn Jenner, surveying Miss America competitions for interesting names when one day Kamihira suggested Caitlyn, which she had been considering for some time.
