Cameron Diaz and husband Benji Madden may be looking to welcome a third member to their family, a report by Radar Online said Monday after the couple was spotted in Los Angeles. Madden and Diaz married last year after dating for less than a year and reports last year had speculated that the actress was trying to get pregnant.

The 43 year-old “Sex Tape” actress was seen with Madden, wearing a baggy shirt and pants in Los Angeles, following which Radar Online speculated that the actress was pregnant and was trying to cover up her baby bump. The report also added that the actress was desperately trying to get pregnant since her wedding to guitarist Madden last January, and a source told the gossip website that she was “heartbroken” at not being pregnant last fall.

A source told Radar Online at the time: “Cameron and Benji have been trying for a baby ever since they said ‘I do’ in January,” adding: “She’s devastated that it hasn’t happened yet!”

In an interview in 2014, “The Mask” actress told Esquire magazine that she does not want children at all.

“It's so much more work to have children,” Diaz said in the interview, cited by People magazine adding: “To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for — I didn't take that on. ... A baby — that's all day, every day for 18 years. Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother.

“I have it so much easier than any of them. That's just what it is. Doesn't mean life isn't sometimes hard. It's just what I am. I work on what I am. Right now, I think, things are good for me. I've done a lot. And I don't care anymore,” Diaz added.
