Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey's new fiancee, has become the center of attention for many celebrity-watchers who want to know more about the actor's lover.

The actor known for his southern drawl popped the question to the 29-year-old Brazilian model on Christmas day after a several-year courtship, according to People magazine.

Alves and McConaughey live together with their son Levi and daughter Vida. They both work extensively with the J.K. Livin Foundation, a charity McConaughey founded to help teenagers lead productive lives.
