Some of Carrie Fisher’s last few text messages before she passed away were sent to her half-sister, Joely Fisher.

During her recent appearance on “Good Morning America,” the 49-year-old sibling of Carrie said that she and the actress were texting before the latter boarded a plane to Los Angeles. The sisters talked about so many things including “The Golden Girls” alum and Carrie's mother, Debbie Reynolds. “We talked about age cause she was floored that she had just turned 60. We talked about children, we talked about our frail mothers,” she said. An emotional Joely also revealed that she and Carrie were supposed to celebrate Christmas together.

The “Star Wars” actress fought for her dear life at a hospital before dying in the ICU on Dec. 27. Prior to her death, Reynolds told Joely that she wants more time with her daughter. At that time, the latter already knew that if Carrie won’t make it, it’s highly likely that Reynolds won’t either. “She kept saying that she wanted more time. I knew that if Carrie wasn’t going to survive this, that Debbie would not. You knew it,” Joely said. Reynolds passed away a day later.

Carrie and Reynolds’ memorial will take place on Thursday, Jan. 5 in Los Angeles. According to ABC, a public event will also be held for the fans of both actresses. Todd Fisher, Carrie’s brother, told the publication that his daughter, Billie Lourd, will be arranging the details of their wake. “Carrie loves a good party, so, you know, I’m sure she’ll want to throw a party for her,” he said.

Earlier this week, the “Scream Queens” actress also broke her silence following her mom and grandmother’s death. On her Instagram account, the 24-year-old actress thanked her fans and supporters for all of the love and concern they have been sending their way.
