The prosecution used witnesses today to build a case today that Casey Anthony seemed unfazed in the days after she allegedly murdered her daughter.

Members of Anthony's former social circle said that her behavior did not change even after her 2-year-old daughter Caylee went missing and that she went clubbing and participated in a hot body contest at a club. She deflected questions about her daughter's whereabouts, saying she was with a nanny.

She seemed normal, happy, like everything was fine, said Nathan Lezniewicz, an acquiantance of Anthony's.

Attorneys offered dueling narratives of how Caylee died. The prosecution charged that Casey placed duct tape over the child's mouth before drowning her in the pool, while the defense said that she drowned accidentally and the family was too panicked to report it. Anthony's defense lawyer said her carefree lifestyle in the wake of Caylee's death stemmed from a dysfunctional upbringing.
