Tila Tequila is making her return to TV. The former star of MTV’s “Shot at Love With Tila Tequila” will join the cast of the U.K.’s “Celebrity Big Brother.”

Tila, whose real name is Tila Nguyen, confirmed the news on her Instagram. She posted a photo of TMZ’s exclusive report along with the caption, “Surprise! [smiling emojis] and suck it, haters. Lol #TilaTequila #Tmz #Cbb.”

The mother of one has kept busy since her MTV reality show ended in 2008. She has appeared on several other shows such as “H8R,” “NY Ink” and “E! True Hollywood Story.” The former Playboy model also told fans on her website in May that she wanted to record more music.

Tila’s fans and “Celebrity Big Brother” viewers both seemed thrilled that she was joining the cast:

According to TMZ, Tila, 34, will be paid $175,000 for the month-long appearance. She also won’t be the only American. This season, the show is titled “Celebrity Big Brother: U.S. vs. U.K.,” so it seems Tila is the first of several American celebs to join the show. Digital Spy reports that wrestler Hulk Hogan, “Teen Mom OG” star Farrah Abraham, model Janice Dickinson and porn star Jenna Jameson are rumored to be among the American cast members.

“Celebrity Big Brother: U.S. vs. U.K.” does not yet have a premiere date. It airs on Channel 5 in the U.K., but it typically doesn’t air in the U.S.
