Chanel's creative director Karl Largefeld launched an Indian- Paris themed luxury show during the Metiers D'Art Show in Paris, on Tuesday.

Initially launched in 2003 as homage to the label's workshop, the show this year came up with a unique blend of Bombay-Paris theme in costumes and ambience that was undoubtedly remarkable and highly impressive.

Models walked the ramp of the royal set-up, adorned with expensive jeweled accessories and costumes inspired by Indian traditions.

The collection, shown on Tuesday, will hit Chanel boutiques worldwide starting May 2012.
