Charlie Sheen agreed to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but he added his own twist. Instead of dumping ice on his head, thus donating $100 to promote awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease), the “Anger Management” star dumped $10,000 in cash over himself for the cause. He also nominated “frenemies” Chuck Lorre, Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher to participate, but wanted the actors to take the challenge his way.

Sheen, 48, stood with a pot in front of him the way most ALS challenges start. He introduced himself, said he was nominated by Ryan Miller (the Vancouver Canucks goaltender who is married to Sheen'sAnger Management” costar Noureen DuWolf), but when he dumped the “ice bucket” on his head there was a different result: He was drenched in cold, hard cash.

"Oh wait, that's not ice. That's $10,000 in cash which I am donating to the ALS foundation," the TV star reveals in the clip. "Let's face it ice is going to melt, but this money is going to actually help people. So I am here by calling out Jon Cryer, Chuck Lorre and Ashton Kutcher to identically do what I just did. Come on, it's for a great cause. Have a great day."

Neither Lorre, Cryer nor Kutcher have responded to Sheen’s challenge, but former “That 70s Show” star Kutcher did participate in the social media craze over the weekend and dumped ice on his head. While he participated with Wilmer Valderrama and Dax Shepard, pregnant fiancé Mila Kunis apparently can be heard giggling in the background.
