Actress Charlize Theron is reportedly fuming after Tia Mowry shared her disappointing introduction to the Oscar-winning star at a Los Angeles SoulCycle studio. Speaking to InTouch magazine in July, Mowry said she was snubbed by the “Prometheus” star when she introduced herself at the class.

“She wasn’t very nice to me. I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God,’” Mowry said. She added that her approach wasn’t “over–the-top” and “Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

In an attempt to retaliate against the former “The Game” and “Sister Sister” star for revealing her rude behavior, Theron apparently approached management at the studio and requested that Mowry be blocked from attending any future classes, said a source speaking to Dish Nation.

“Charlize came in so p****d off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back,” the insider said. “When the manager refused, Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen.”

When management refused her request to ban Mowry, the source says Theron became even more upset, knocking Mowry’s career and claiming that her comments made Theron question her privacy while visiting the studio. “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me, but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?” Theron said, according to the source.

Since Tia and her twin sister, Tamera Mowry, are known for their upbeat personalities and staying clear of industry drama, few are questioning her take on the encounter with Theron. Mowry has offered no more comments on the incident. Theron has also remained quiet about the claims.
