It seems as if Simon Cowell is having a hard time finding the right judges for his upcoming singing competition, The X Factor.

People.com is reporting that British musician, Cheryl Cole, will no longer be a judge on The X Factor as it has previously been reported.

Reports say that Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer for the Pussycat Dolls, will be replacing Cole as a judge. While there has been no official report as to whether she was fired or if she quit, the Sun is suggesting that Cole was homesick.

It hasn't worked out, a source told the British paper. She's homesick and wants to return to the U.K. She's had enough. Whether she ends up back on U.K. X Factor is open to speculation.

Cole was a judge on the British X Factor. People.com reports that she already judged some televised auditions for the U.S. version of the show which is slated to premiere in September.

The other judges of the U.S. version include Paula Abdul and Antonio L.A. Reid. Scherzinger was originally reported to be the co-host of the show.
