A Chihuahua puppy named “Roo” was born with just two hind legs; however, the disability hasn't reduced the cuteness of the15-week-old creature, who likes to hop on his hind legs. Roo is only a few inches tall and was put up for adoption at the age of 6 weeks by his breeder.

The pup seems unperturbed by his condition. He is often seen climbing stairs, jumping and running around by the onlookers. The playful activities of the little dog has left everyone amazed.

Roo was rescued Paula Knowles, 48, of Pendle Dogs in Need, Lancs, UK. Knowles confesses being a little hesitant at first, but the exhuberant nature of the little dog left her with no option but to keep him. Soon, the dog was adopted by a new owner who agreed to take care of the animal and provide a happy home.

“He is so determined and such a character. He doesn’t let his disability hold him back at all. He doesn’t know he’s any different [than] other dogs. If the door goes, he bounces towards it with the other dogs, on his back legs instead of all four. He thinks he's a kangaroo, that’s where his name came from,” Knowles said in an interview with the Mirror.

Knowles said when the dog was taken to the vet, he was pronounced healthy. The vet suggested two of the dog's legs remained underdeveloped due to a genetic disorder.

Knowles is hoping Roo someday can be fitted with a pair of prosthetic legs since he has stumps for the front legs. She already has contacted the bionic vet Noel Fitzpatrick in hope of getting a set of wheels that could aid Roo's front body movement.
