Grab your warmest blanket and get all snuggled up on the couch because tonight’s the premiere of Lifetime’s new movie, “Christmas in Mississippi,” starring Jana Kramer and Wes Brown as part of the network’s It’s A Really, Really Cozy Christmas event.

This might be “One Tree Hill” alum Kramer’s first Lifetime TV romcom, but at least she does have a Hallmark Channel one under her belt. The actress starred in “Love at First Bark” with Kevin McGarry in February, which was the perfect practice for her new Lifetime Christmas movie. As this’ll be her second TV romcom this year, 2017 has been good to Kramer, but here’s already hoping that 2018 will bring even more romcoms from the 34-year-old star.

This is also Brown’s first Lifetime romance movie, but he’s been in a few Hallmark ones. He’s starred in a couple Hallmark Channel movies, including “June in January” with Brooke D’Orsay in 2014 and in 2016’s “Christmas Cookies” with Jill Wagner. Brown was also in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film “Love Under the Stars” in 2015 with Ashley Newbrough.

What’s in store for Kramer’s and Brown’s first Lifetime romcom, though?

“Photographer Holly Logan (Kramer) returns to her hometown of Gulfport, Mississippi for Christmas,” the synopsis starts. "The town is resurrecting their traditional holiday light show for the first time since a terrible hurricane struck five years earlier.”

Holly volunteers to help, but she soon begins to reconsider when she learns that the festival is being run by her high school boyfriend, Mike (Brown). Now Holly has to spend her time around the guy who broke her heart and made her skeptical of love.

“With the help of Caroline (Faith Ford), her match-making mother and Mr. Kriss, the kind man who will play Santa in the town’s celebration, Holly begins to fall in love with her hometown, and Mike, all over again,” the synopsis reveals.

The film was produced by Ken Badish and Daniel Lewis, while Emily Moss Wilson served as the director. Marcy Holland was the film’s writer.

“Christmas in Mississippi” debuts on Lifetime on Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. EST.
