Soft drink maker Coca-Cola Co unveiled goals on Monday that call for the revenue generated by the company and its bottlers to double by 2020, with profit margins increasing.

The world's largest soft drink maker and its bottlers currently generate about $100 billion in annual revenue.

Coke also said it hopes to more than double the number of soft drink servings it sells to over 3 billion per day by the end of 2020.

The company discussed its targets for the next decade at its investor day in Atlanta, its first such meeting in its hometown in over a decade.

The fundamentals of our business remain strong as we continue to gain market share globally and in key markets, expand our margins, and generate tremendous cash flows, said Chief Financial Officer Gary Fayard.
