Just in Case® condom compacts will be included in the Official Swag bags at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Just in Case is a discreet, mirrored compact with a compartment for condoms - marketed to women. The product's tag line is Your Secret is Safe with Us!

The 2011 Daytime Emmy awards will be broadcast live from the Las Vegas Hilton on Sunday, June 19th on CBS and affiliates. 1400 attendees are expected to receive the gift bags.

The condom compacts are the brainchild of mother/daughter team Marsha Bartenetti and Rachael Sudul, who said in a statement that women are inclined to carry condoms, but they just needed a fabulous way to carry them...Just in Case condom compacts are the missing link between carrying condoms or not. Sudul added that the condom compacts would be a welcome gift, especially in Vegas.

But it's not all jokes for the socially conscious entrepenuers. Today, it's simply not an option to have unprotected sex, said Barenetti.

The Just in Case website has an 'Our Philosophy' mission statement page:

We believe we can take the messages in the media about safe sex practices and the risks of unplanned pregnancy, the epidemic numbers of AIDS or STD's, and transform them into action...We provide a product that will discreetly and stylishly protect and make a difference in the lives of sexually active women, and restore her self-respect, confidence, and honoring of her own body.

The website also includes a list of relevant nonprofit organizations that visitors can support, as well as a tutorial on how to use a condom.

Safe is the new sexy, said Bartenetti. Our compacts definitely have the wink factor, but at the end of the day, they just might save a life.
