Consumer sentiment has fallen in October, while industrial output grew in September, according to new economic data released today.

The Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers preliminary of index of sentiment index of sentiment for October was down to 69.4 points compared with 73.5 points.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Federal Reserve reported today that industrial production nationwide grew 0.7 percent in September, compared to a revised gain of 1.2 percent in August.
