Justin Bieber now has a street dedicated in his honor in Texas thanks to a contest winner renamed a street in Texas after her favorite star.

After winning a contest to grant one young person "mayor for a day" in Forney, Tex., 11-year-old Caroline Gonzalez used her diplomatic authority to rename a street "Justin Bieber Way," according to E! Online.

When asked why she chose to rename a street for the Biebs by E! News, she said, "Because I really like Justin Bieber. I like his music and I like him. And I thought, why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?"

The contest was aimed to spark interest in government in young people.

The temporary sign reportedly only cost the city, located about 15 miles east of Dallas, about $20, according to the Centre Daily.

Justin Bieber did not visit Forney for the ceremony when the 'Justin Bieber Way' sign went up on Tuesday.
