Grey's Anatomy season 10 finale
Check out this tear-jerking montage of Cristina and Meredith. What was your favorite "person" moment from "Grey's Anatomy"? Grey's Anatomy

This is it, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. It’s Cristina Yang’s final episode. Viewers of the hit ABC show have grown to love Sandra Oh’s sassy character for her hilarious one-liners as well as her loyalty, determination and unparalleled work ethic. And on Thursday night, it’s time to say goodbye to the unforgettable surgeon.

Most Cristina Yang fans started to mourn their favorite doctor from the moment it was announced she would leave the Shona Rimes–created series last summer. Memes went viral, with most of them being sad Yang faces.

There’s a fun fact that some fans might not know about the star. She originally auditioned to play the role of Bailet, who is now portrayed by Chandra Wilson, but according to TV Guide, Oh said she couldn’t identify with that character. The actress, however, told the news site she wanted to audition for ambitious Cristina Yang when she found out the role was still open.

"I hadn't auditioned yet and I get a call from my manager," Oh says. "She said, 'You've got to go. Leave the audition. You need to leave.' As it happens in deals, a lot of times you have to sign a deal before you audition. It's very stressful and very, very difficult. They weren't able to close a deal, so they told me to leave."

Of course, we all know the story has a happy ending. "I don't know how many days later, they offered me the part. It was amazing. ... It was just one of those moments where you play chicken and you don't move or you do and you walk away."

Though Oh, now 42, joked it would be easy to walk away from the series, she acknowledged it would be hard for her to break away. "It's like leaving a major relationship in your life,” she told TV Guide. “It takes a while to process it out."

Oh said in the past she loved being on “Grey’s Anatomy,” but she felt it was time to explore other options. Oh’s fandom will probably follow her wherever she goes. Yet before she takes on another character, it’s time to relish in some of the best Cristina Yang moments -- because how can anyone say a proper farewell without identifying her most loveable qualities, not to mention her best one-liners?

1. Her brutal honesty:

“Sometimes it’s actually painful to be around you.”

2. She’s knows how to express her emotions:

“I’m laughing, just not externally.”

3. Her practicality:

“According to Google, you don’t exist.”

4. Her intelligence:

“Oh, screw beautiful, I’m brilliant! You want to appease me, compliment my brain!”

5. Her view on the opposite sex:

“I hate men. They’re stupid.”

6. She’s not afraid to ask for help:

“Somebody sedate me!”

7. Sometimes the stress of work gets to her:

“I need to scream or kill someone. Though I’m leaning towards killing someone.”

8. Her enviable friendship with Meredith Grey:

“If I murdered someone, she’s the person I’d call to help me drag the corpse across the living room floor. She’s my person.”

9. Her take on practical sleeping:

“I could sleep in the shower.”

10. Her confidence:

“You wanna be me but you can’t be me.”

11. She doesn’t perseverate:

“So I fall asleep during sex. So what?”

12. She knows how to identify a bad party:

“If there’s no food, I’m going home.”
