Crown Princess Mary of Denmark looked stunning in a white gown at a diplomatic reception in Copenhagen. The Australia-born royal attended the official engagement with her husband Crown Prince Frederik. This is the second time Mary has been pictured in a show-stopping ensemble within a week.

The 43-year-old princess stole the show at the reception in her white floor-length gown. She added some color to her ensemble with a pink belt that was cinched at the waist. She paired the ensemble with a sweeping dove gray cape.

The mother-of-four accessorized with a pearl necklace, matching small earrings and white high heels. In keeping with tradition, Mary wore the Order of the Elephant blue silk sash across her gown.

The princess scored high in the style stakes, opting for the elegant wintry outfit. Mary’s brunette tresses were left loose and styled into a half up and half down ‘do’ with a side part. Her flawless make-up consisted of a hint of lip gloss.

Looking resplendent alongside the future queen of Denmark was Mary’s husband Frederik. He looked dapper in his military uniform. The pair was pictured arriving at the Christiansborg Palace.

Meanwhile, days earlier, Mary looked stunning in a dark blue floor-length gown as she made an appearance with Frederick for the annual New Year banquet at the Danish royal family’s winter retreat Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen Friday. She recycled one of her old dresses, but with some changes. The Tasmanian-born princess previously wore the designer outfit for the Bambi Awards in 2014.

Mary’s evening gown is a custom version of Danish couture designer Jesper Hovring’s Autumn Winter 2014 collection. The original gown showcased on the runway featured an off-shoulder design. The princess’s midnight blue confection featured velvet fabric with the bottom half embellished with delicate sequins.

It was altered with long sleeves and also featured a belt-like design which was cinched at the waist. The gown showed off Mary’s tall and svelte frame. The mother-of-four’s long tresses were styled into a chic up ‘do’.

She had then accessorized with a diamond and ruby encrusted tiara and matching drop earrings. The princess wore the Order of the Elephant collar, which is usually worn on New Year’s Day. She did not wear the sash, as they are not usually worn together.

The doting mum-of-four has just come back from spending the Christmas holidays in her native Australia. It was the first time since 2011 that Mary and her family had made trip.
