“Dancing With the Stars” contestant Bindi Irwin and her Season 21 partner will reunite in the ballroom during Week 6 of the 2015 competition. And while the “DWTS” pro is excited to team up with the fan favorite contestant once again, Derek has revealed he’s a bit nervous to take the dance floor with Bindi.

According to the performer, Team Crickey will be performing a routine inspired by the 1987 classic film “Dirty Dancing” in honor of “Famous Dances Night.” That means the twosome will attempt to recreate the iconic lift from the final scene of the romantic movie.

“The tough part is the lift,” Derek noted in a blog post for TV Guide, revealing that he and Bindi have rehearsed the difficult move rigorously. “We try every day and we've gotten really close.”

Well, it looks like practice makes perfect because on Saturday Derek snapped a photo of him and Bindi nailing the challenging lift.

“What an honor to pay homage to this iconic dance film,” Derek captioned the photo that showed a side-by-side comparison of their lift and the lift from “Dirty Dancing.” “Nobody puts Bindi in the corner.”

Jennifer Grey, who portrayed the role of Baby in the film, reportedly attended some of Derek and Bindi’s rehearsals to give them tips before Week 6 of the hit ABC series.

“We can't disappoint her!” Derek said of wanting to make his former “DWTS” partner proud. Derek and Jennifer were crowned winners of the dance competition during the show’s eleventh season.

So what does the “Dirty Dancing” star think of Derek and Bindi recreating the routine she performed with Patrick Swayze nearly three decades ago? Well, during an interview with the Guardian in October, the "Red Oaks" actress divulged that she thinks “it’s insane” that anyone would “have the guts to throw themselves into the arms of anyone other than Patrick Swayze.”
